Dallas is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Dallas is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

People say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. At this cafe, it is also the tastiest! The menu is packed with amazing options. Lupa was a great hostess and gave great recommendations. The environment was very friendly and cheerful. Start off with the biscuits and jam!

I’d say this place is highly overrated. The food at best is ok/good. Service slow especially during peak hours. A/C is a serious problem. It’s not cool inside, more like around 80 degrees. That should be fixed. Also for the price you’re dining in, they should upgrade their silverware. Even at Cindi’s, the silverware is better. For a $80 brunch for two, the quality should be better. And our table wasn’t one of the nicer tables, even though there were other tables empty.

I don’t review places unless they wow me, as a foodie that travels the country for work I can tell you this is a southern Louisiana level good breakfast spot. Chicken and waffles a huge portion, incredibly well seasoned chicken, the pigs in a blanket were so good we ordered more for the table. Fantastic spot for breakfast or brunch if you want to impress a visitor, friend, or client.

First time to try from here. We ordered lunch to be delivered for 5 people. Apparently they had 2 large orders at the same time, not sure 5 people is a large order, but anyway, it took about 45 minutes to prepare the order to be delivered. Although it was a long wait, food did arrive still warm. Everything was packaged well, and everything ordered arrived as expected, except my syrup was missing from my order. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles, it was good, but wish they would have also sent my syrup. The gravy for the chicken was great, the breading was light and flavorful. The waffle was like stuffed with jalapeño, bacon, and cheddar, very good. We will order from here again so I can try some other items.

I have to say I was very disappointed with Breadwinners location. But let me begin on a positive note, the atmosphere is great. It's a cozy somewhat rustic style that I enjoyed. The food was hit or miss for me. The county fried steak was small but was tender and seasoned well and the jalapeño gravy added a mild spicy touch. The grits were grainy, but creamy at the same time, which was good. The potatoes were basic and had no seasoning as well as the eggs. But the cinnamon rolls were awesome, even though they ran out during brunch hour. The waffles were very good also, but were served with very little syrup. The service was also disappointing . Our waitress was sub par at best She took our order while seemingly mildly annoyed. She came around once every 20min. When served our cinnamon rolls there were no plates given, so rather than wait for her another 20 min we ate off napkins. There was a group of 10 of us, which may have added to our wait experience, but I have been to several other restaurants where this wasn't an option. We also had to pay for parking in this area. In conclusion I would visit Breadwinners at a different location, but i would not visit this one again
